HALLOWED
- Director Rocky Costanzo's feature length homage
to John Carpenter and classic 80's slasher flicks.
I took a
very minimalist approach
on this one and count Carpenter as one of my big musical
influences.
In The Cell
Meet Dr. Phobia
SUSTENANCE
- Horror short that explores the consequences of vanity.
Directed
by David Quitmeyer. Emphasis here is on creepy atmospheric
and electronic sounds.
Mr. Buttons Theme
Never Fight Again
MR.
BUTTONS - Horror short about about a mysterious doll
that grants wishes.
Directed by David Quitmeyer. In this one the director
wanted
a score that was both childlike and creepy. The
end result was a score
that in one reviewers words "sounds
like carnival music on a really bad acid trip."
Mail Order Bride Theme
Dr. Phobia Theme
MAIL
ORDER BRIDE - Horror
short that warns about the use of technology as a substitute
for human interaction. Directed by David Quitmeyer.
Here
the director wanted to invoke the feel of the classic "horror
host"
TV shows of the 50's & 60's and asked
for a score that was both modern and retro sounding.

Love Theme
DEADLY
OBSESSIONS - A feature length film Noir style story of
love, lust, greed,
and murder. Directed by Karl Bauer. This is my
first
score and presented a lot of challenges, both musically
and technically since all
I had at the time was a slow
PC, a guitar,
a keyboard and the desire to score a film.

SLAUGHTER
DISC - A feature length horror film that is cautionary
tale
of
addiction and thrill seeking taken to extremes. Directed
by David Quitmeyer. The music is a clash of styles much
in the way
the movie
is a clash of genres. A soundtrack
CD was released and
got a pretty
good review in Rue Morgue
#55 which definitely made my day.
Point

I composed a series of pieces, 2 of which are used
at the beginning and end of each episode.
These
are short pieces produced for an assortment of clients and
purposes
along with some tunes written for fun or practice. All of these
may
be licensed for use in a variety of productions. Please contact me if
you are interested in using any of them!
